The Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme (GAHDT) expands Ohio State’s capacity for cross-disciplinary research that foregrounds the transformative role of artistic and humanistic methods and practices to drive social change.
GAHDT breaks down barriers to meaningful cross-disciplinary collaboration, fosters an inclusive culture and provides support in the form of team-based grants and fellowships, cluster hiring, professional development and mentorship, experiential-teaching and learning opportunities, innovative pedagogic tools, and community-engaged initiatives.
